Zero Waste School

Within the scope of the ACADEMIA LIXO ZERO project, the BIPZIP19 project, the next accredited training action for teachers is presented, in partnership with the Liga para a Proteção da Natureza (League for Nature's Protection NGO), in a online format.

1. Training objectives:
- Stregthen participants' knowledge of "Zero Waste" concepts and strategies in a school/training/other context and raise awareness of individual and collective responsability towards environmental sustainability;
- Promote creativity in reusing school resources and designing solutions to optimize available resources;
- Create an internal culture of reuse to qualify a "Zero Waste School".

2. Modules:
- Current environmental situation and problemns caused by waste;
- What is zero waste?;
- How to apply the concept in schools;
- The teacher as an example in sustainable behaviours;
- Models for training and sensitizing students, teachers and employees;
- Zero waste pedagogical guide.

3. Recipients:
- Teachers and other pedagogical facilitators (animators, educators, general stakeholders).

4. Duration:
- 6 hours.

6. Participants:
Up to 20 participants, in order of registation, with submission of complete registration. Submission of the application to hello@zerowastelab.pt.:
- Subject: Teacher Training;
- Name;
- CC and NIF;
- Identify which recruiter group you belong to;
- Proof of payment- 20 euros (special conditions for ZWL and LPN members- 15 euros).
